Theoretical Girls are Boys...Mostly
Punk was always supposed to be about exploding pre-conceived notions and defying tradition. Whatever happened along the way that finds everyone at shows looking and thinking exactly the same is a shame. But for a brief, glimmering second, everything free was represented in the music. Of course, the best of this feeling, idea or notion couldn’t have been recorded – that would almost refute the stated purpose of the genre and the movement.
